Death Sentence
In our first build, our Dodge Build will be based on an IZHMA 12G shotgun coupled with Bernetti for maximum concealment, along with brass knuckles as your weapon of choice in melee for maximum dodging. For throwables, you can choose a frag grenade or a concussion grenade to stun your enemies. Lastly, whenever you’re going for a Dodge Build, make sure to equip a two-piece suit to achieve maximum dodge. And for the rest of the skills from the skill tree, opt for the following skills:
- Medic: Combat Medic, Quick Fix, Combat Doctor, Inspire.
- Controller: Force Friendship, Confident, Joker, Partners in Crime, Hostage Taker.
- Shotgunner: Underdog, Shotgun CQB, Closeby, Overkill.
- Tank: Resilience, Diehard, Transporter.
- Artful Dodger: Duck and Cover, Parkour, Inner Pockets, Sneaky Bastard
- Silent Killer: Second Wind, Optical Illusions, Low Blow
- Revenant: Nine Lives, Swan Song
- Perk Deck: Rogue
This build would drastically increase your chances of sprinting extremely fast and sneaking up on your enemies. However, at the same time, not having the extra armor increases your chances of being taken down by a few shots. But, since you will be relying on your speed and dodge skills, enemies will find it hard to land a shot. Nevertheless, don’t put yourself in between the enemy fire. This is a great build if you want to play Payday 2 together with friends.
Rifle Rush
The weapon of choice for this build would be a CAR-4 AR or AK5 coupled with a Micro Uzi, concussion grenades, and brass knuckles for the best result. Furthermore, for the perk deck, we’ll be going with “Rogue” to create a max dodge build. After playing as “Rogue” for countless hours, it’s hard to let go of such a desirable perk.
Moving on, as mentioned above, opt for a 2-piece suit for maximum dodge stats instead of selecting chest armor since they’ll significantly slow you down and negatively affect the dodge stats. For the rest of the build, equip these skills from the skill tree:

If you aren’t a fan of smashing enemies with a bugshot, an AR would be your best and in this case, this dodge build would offer the desired stats to go in gun blazing while taking minimal hits.
SniperMania
Not in awe of going gun-blazing and getting butchered in the process? Well, our Sniper dodge build is just for you. Boost the dodge stats to upwards of 50 points, players will be able to evade enemy fire while having immensely fast sprinting and reloading abilities. In this build, we’ll be using Desertfox Sniper Rifle as our primary weapon backed by a micro UZI because of its concealment statistics. As for the rest of the skills, equip the following:

Which Melee Weapon is best for a Good Payday 2 Dodge Build?
Anything from a knife to brass knuckles would be the ideal choice in a dodge build. Since the pace is fast in dodge build gameplay, you’ll have to depend on your melee weapons heavily, and in such a case, having a reliable melee weapon is necessary.
Can I take Grenade Launcher As a Secondary in Dodge Builds?
Having a weapon that offers higher concealment points increases your chances of building the perfect dodge build, but a weapon like a Grenade Launcher could also be used in the resolution. It is undoubtedly one of the best weapons in Payday 2 and having it in your arsenal would be an excellent asset.
