Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones have finally revealed their ‘big news’ on Thursday after rumours of a Normal People reunion began spreading on social media. The tworising actorsrose to fame during the pandemic in 2020’s adaption of Sally Rooney’s acclaimed novel Normal People, where they played lovers Marianne and Connell. After appearing at Co Cork’sFastnet Film Festivallast week to reflect on their time working together, a new selfie of the pair shared byDaisy got everyone talking, with the pair teasing an exciting new project. The pictures, which sees Daisy and Paul giving peace signs to the camera, read: ‘We’ve got some news to share. Watch this space.’ Now the news has been revealed, with the pair announcing they’re holding a charity raffle to attend a marathon screening of Normal People alongside the stars of show. ‘We are incredibly sorry, we may have led people on, it’s not a season two,’ Paul began the video, with Daisy chiming in with ‘not yet,’ to keep the fans hooked. The dynamic on-screen duo went on to explain that they’ll be hosting a screening of all twelve episodes of the hit Hulu show in a Central London cinema on June 16. The monster marathon will span from 9:30am until 5:30pm and will be in support of Pieta and UNICEF. Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the cast and creatives behind the show, truly an ideal experience of mega fans of the show.
