This is written in loving memory of my mom, daughter of Pat Dundee, who passed away on January 18, 2004 in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Wichita, KS, but made our home in New York City. She was born April 3, 1924, the only child of my grandmother, Faye Handy, native of Kansas. On behalf of her friends and only child, myself, our loss is profound. In earlier years, she was adored by fans, and later adored by her friends and business acquaintances.

Her career consisted of show business, where her singing, beauty and sense of humor made her very popular, motherhood and great business savvy, which she managed all very well. She was one of the very first women to break into the business world. She came to Nashville in 1980 to bring Viacom Cable to this area. Mayor Fulton joined her in accomplishing this endeavor. From there she went into Real Estate and made a name for herself in that regard, where she retired at the age of 74.

Though you were not a conventional mom, I am eternally grateful for the knowledge, upbringing and love that you showed me. You showed me the world and helped me know that I can get whatever I want, as long as I am honest and work for it. Mom had more integrity than anyone ever known. I was happy to be with her at the end. Know this Mom, you will always be loved and in our hearts.

love you always and forever. Your loving daughter, Diane. Arrangements by HAMILTON HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 2930 Murfreesboro Pike, Antioch, TN at Hamilton Church Road, (615) 399-1115. Woodbury, TN DANIEL, Mary Florene Age 89. January 19, 2004.
