Love the Apple Market. My Grandma shopped there for years! It's family owned and they are wonderful. Tim is the best! We need to keep and support our local grocers

I love this store. I moved into the Groesbeck neighborhood in August and have been to this store countless times for quick grocery trips. I will say the proximity to my house is what makes it convenient for me. The prices are higher than a chain grocery store like Kroger or Meijer, but the extra price is something I'm willing to pay for when I need something quickly and don't want to make the further drive. As an added bonus, they are a local UPS pickup location so when I get things delivered that need signatures, I have UPS set up to use this location as a drop off so I can just go in after work and pick it up without making the trek to the UPS center.

Friendly, local, easy to find everything, close by and great selection of foods & stuff I need. I love the warm welcome and a bonus is I bump into my friends there. It is my Happy Place to shop!

Best for the smart person who does not enjoy big box shopping. Personal experience of the comfort of locally owned. Fresh items, great meat service, helpful staff. Deli has comfort foods to go. Its perfect for me.

What a great neighborhood store that not only serves as a convenient store for the area" But out of the area as well. Staff is friendly & Helpful. The meat department is clean! And carry a wide range of beef & pork .as well as smoke Turkey products. Chicken cuts along with a large variety of different sausage's. Fresh fruit and vegetables all the time! And the Deli" is excellent one of my favorites is that they carry rost beef. Corn beef. And other fresh deli meats that you can have cut to your desire. Soup of the day! A pickle barrel with gigantic pickles. And I could continue............As you can see I am a big fan of this store" For several reasons. The two of the main reasons are they still remain privately owned! And the individuals at the top of this operation continue to get it right! This is why they have survived. I strongly recommend you make the drive across town. Or out of town as to patronize this very pleasant store and experience great shopping. Which also includes a fully stocked Liquor department.

Best locally-owned grocery ever! Easy parking, friendly staff, butcher shop on premise, amazing deli with homemade items, best wine and beer selection, etc. Now, if I could only take them when I move!

As one gets older, you don't want the hassle of fighting the crowds at larger grocery stores. This smaller store is friendly (most of the time) and convenient. FIY...there is one employee who tends to wear WAY too much perfume! Being a smaller store it can be a challenge to stay away from the overpowering scent. If you are sensitive to perfumes, be aware of this!Yes, the prices can be a bit higher, but it isn't a big "box store", so one needs to understand this. As someone else said, they have items that no other stores have. If I can't find an item at any of the "big" stores, I will check here and most of the time they have it.It is advised that you always check the expiration dates, because some of their items can be very close to - or over - the expiration date. They have GREAT fried chicken (hot or cold) and home made baked goods, and now they have a cold and hot food bar. The food smells heavenly when you enter the store!

This grocery store has a friendly neighborhood feel that is relaxed. They have a great deli that makes some really good homemade fried chicken fresh daily.

They carry some items that other big stores don't, like Leon's salads. Not the cleanest place and sometimes the stuff is old. Nice employees and decent sales.

Nice clean neighborhood grocery store. Friendly staff. Prices are a bit higher than your bigger grocery store. So unless you only need a few items your better off going somewhere else.

Happens to be in the neighborhood that my son lives in. And so when we're in the neighborhood to see my son sometimes we stop by to pick up a few things. Staff is usually very courteous and friendly. Store is always clean and the staff always helpful.

This store is so cute and unique 😍 they have it all!!!! Even tho I went for my fresh biscuits in a bag and they didn't have them 😔 I still got some goodies while there 💖🎂😜

An old mom and pop grocery store still run by a family - support them there's too few of these left, you can still ask the butcher for anything special and it's the way grocery stores used to be - kind and helpful

Love the brats and steaks. The food in the hot case is great as well. Glad I live so close to this place. Friendly staff and an overall great shopping enviroment.

Great for quick stops on the way home if you need a few things. Much better than a number of shops around town. They seem to have a good selection of deli meats and also have a lot of ready-to-go food behind the counter. I wouldn't shop here for a complete trip, but I would get a few things I need to make a quick dinner. Nice shop though.

Small, cozy place to shop. Prices are a little higher than a chain store, bit just a little. Very friendly and helpful service! They have a deli and sell ready to eat items there. Smells wonderful.

I have written in the past about how nice this little market is, but alas, their standards are slipping. We have shopped there for years, and like to support our locally owned businesses, but there are a few problems with their deli. They have GOOD fried chicken, IF you get it freshly fried! Otherwise, they let it sit there for hours, dry out and get leathery like an old shoe. They won't sell you the newer fried pieces, they will go to the bottom and fish out the dried out pieces first. It seems they are so against throwing out the old dried out chicken pieces - they would rather sell inferior quality items to the customers to "save some money". This only makes people NOT want to purchase their chicken because they will be charged full price for horrible dried out pieces, you can barely chew. Too bad, because their fried chicken is very good (the non-dried out pieces, that is). I guess it is back to KFC for us.

It's like a small town grocery store. If you ask for help they will help. Carry out? No problem. Discount day on Tuesday for 55 and older. Excellent meat department. Can't find something they'll try to get it in!!! They are stocking more gluten free items since I asked. Love this place!
