He was the son of the late Calvin and Angelina Festa Collins. He was a graduate of the Revere HS class he of 1966 and following that graduated from the New England School of Photography in Boston, MA. He worked as a free-lance photographer while living in Massachusetts and continued his award winning love for photograafter moving to Maine in 1987.

Michael was a member of the Ross Corner Fire Company and the Limerick Rescue squad. In 1995 he earned Paramedic level E.M.T. as well as National Registry status in 1996. The last years himself of to the service of southhis life Michael 08 dedicated ern Maine. He was the town paramedic and chief of E.M.S.

in Limerick, as well as an instructor for the Southern Maine Emergency Medical Services. His wife of 29 years Mrs. Marilyn Zybura Collins of Limerick survives him. In 1942, she moved to Lynn with her husband Robert Goodwin, former GE employee and Recording Secretary of Local 201, who died in 1959.
